Ilford MGIVFB was launched in 1994, and over the last 20 years it has become the best selling FB paper. With its predictable and consistent results, it is the most popular choice for professional, enthusiast and student darkroom workers, worldwide.

Now, Ilford launch two new FB papers:

Multigrade COOLTONE Fibre Base

Multigrade CLASSIC Fibre Base

FB COOLTONE is a completely new addition to the range of Ilford black and white papers and offers photographers the opportunity to achieve deep coldtone images.

FB CLASSIC is a refreshed version of MGIVFB offering richer blacks, shorter exposure times, extended contrast range, and, critically, is more responsive to toning! Classic replaces MGIVFB and we have changed our website to reflect this. (Pending orders for the original MGIVFB will be supplied as ordered, or can be switched to Classic, please contact us)

There has been no change in price over the original MGIVFB. Coldtone is priced the same as Classic
